Proverb Newsome: Home

Man, it seems like forever since I had some new music related news to bring you. Truth is I still don't have any. LOL. I am gonna be at Crossover in Tampa at the end of the month. Looking forward to that. I have been writing new songs, and putting together concepts for my next project. Be prayerful with me on that. It is a very unique and humbling process to relate Christ and life in poetry form, at least it is for me.

I have been using my time to be a dad and a husband and it has been cool seeing my two sons mature from babies to boys. They each still have along way to go but I am so glad that I have the opportunity to be here for my wife and for them. No mission trips abroad this year. Just gonna hang out in the good ole USA and do the Soflo Summer thing with UYI and the fam. Hopefully I can get in some recording this summer. I hope you all had a great Thanksgiving & Christmas. As we plunge into a new decade, think about how blessed we truly are. 2009 was a blur for me. As I look forward, I wanna try to slow this new year down as much as possible. And I wanna make time to get out more and spend time with those that are closest to me. That means you.
